How to use Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad to program a new key for 2013 Volkswagen Jetta? Today I wanna show the procedure step by step.
These are an old key and a new blank key. Connect VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad with OBD2 port, switch ignition on, let’s get ready.
Add a New Key
IMMO programming >> Europe >> VW >> Select by type >> 4th immo system – Volkswagen/Skoda/Seat >> Instrument with NEC+24C64(2013-)
Begin >> Add key automatic wizard
Step 1: Read and save EEPROM data.
Step 2: Read and save immo data, this data can use ingenerate dealer key and learn key.
Step 3: Reset instrument, clear DTC, synchronize the instrument time.
Step 4: Generate dealer key, it can generate normal dealer key or OEM key(Online).
Step 5: Learn key, keys that are not learned will not be able to start the car.
Press “Begin”.
Switch on with working key before press OK. If car has keyless GO, put the working key nearby car coil and switch on. Press “OK”.
Reading data, please wait…
Whether to generate dealer key? Press “OK” to start generate.
Prepare normal dealer key >> Yes
Place an unlocked 48 chip into the coil, press “OK” to continue.
Xhorse key tool plus makes key okay and locked! Press “OK”.
Input the number of keys to be learned, press “OK”.
Is the new key with keyless? No.
Insert the dealer key into ignition switch in turn, and keep switch on for 2s, the time for change key should smaller than 5 seconds. Press “OK” after completing.
All key successfully learned. Press “OK” to finish.
Program a Remote
Go back to “Select by type” page:
Remote system >> 09 central control system (CAN_1) – BCM >> Begin >> Program a remote
Remove the key from ignition switch, press UNLOCK button of remote to be matched for 1 second, the match is successful after double flash lamps flash, press “OK”.
Match is successful, press “No” to end the match.
Let me try the new key, it can work normal. Key programming has done!
