I used the Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Max to program 2015 Maserati Ghibli all keys lost. The password was read successfully, and the new key was added without any issues. The same procedure can also be performed with Key Tool Max PRO.
- Read the Security Password
- Go to Immo Programming >> Maserati >> Ghibli >> Smart Key (2013–2015) >> Smart Key System >> Start Execution>>Read Password.
- Turn on the security light and switch off the ignition.
- The password is 8942.
- Select Key Count to check the current number of registered keys. The vehicle has 2 keys recorded.
- Enter Key Learning
- Select Add Key >> Type 1.
- Turn off the ignition and switch on the hazard lights.Keep only the smart key being programmed inside the vehicle. Remove all other keys.
- The Key Tool Max should show a current key count of 2. Press Yes to continue.
- Enter the password 8942.
- Program the New Smart Key
- Press the lock or unlock button on the smart key once, then click OK to continue.
- Place the new smart key in the center console position, or near the START button.
- Within 60 seconds, repeatedly press the UNLOCK button until the door locks actuate.
- Check the Key Count & Start the Vehicle
Select Key Count again. The registered key count should now be 3, confirming that the new key has been added.
Final Check
Start the Maserati Ghibli and check the lock and unlock functions. The vehicle starts normally, and both locking and unlocking work correctly.
