Today I’m gonna show how to program 2017 Audi Q5 spare key with Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus + BCM2 Solder Free Adapter. Need to disassemble BCM2 module for data reading, then used for key programming.
Connection
Immo programming >> Audi >> Select by type >> Fifth immobilizer system >> Start programming >> Read BCM2 data >> Prog read – encrypted BCM2
- This function needs VVDI BCM2 adapter
- This function needs to connect to the Network, please connect to the Network and click OK to continue.
A4L/Q5 2014- key adding and all keys lost(all versions) >> Adapter method >> Connection diagram
Install Audi BCM2Adapter to BCM module, then connect to Key Tool Plus Pad.
Step1. Identify module information
OK >> Read >> Continue
Reading success.
Save data file.
Step2. Read immo data
Warning:
- This function is risky, and all consequences are borne by the user.
- Warning: It is strictly forbidden to move the module, cable, power supply during the execution, and operate according to the prompt.
Press Yes to continue.
Press Yes to confirm vehicle information.
OK >> Read >> Continue
Save data file.
Click OK to save BCM2 immo data.
In immo5 system, BCM2 data can make dealer key and learn key!
Note: This operation takes about 5-8 minutes…
OK >> Write >> Continue
The operation is complete.
Please restore the BCM2 module and install the vehicle, and check whether the vehicle status is normal!
After it is normal, go to the 5th generation immo system interface to load the immo data to generate the dealer key!
Step3. Program Key
Immo programming >> Audi >> Select by type >> Fifth immobilizer system >> Start programming >> Make dealer key
Do you want to prepare OEM key? No
A4L, A5, Q5 add key or lost all key, don’t need working key >> Load BCM2 data read in step1
Put an Audi Smart Key into Key Tool Plus programmer.
Make dealer key success.
Learn key >> Input the number of keys to be learned >> Load BCM2 data in step1
Insert working key into ignition(or nearby ignition coil) and switch on before continue.
If lost all working key, insert dealer key into ignition(or nearby ignition coil), open the headlight, and step on the brake before continue.
Insert every key into ignition in turn.
Once a key is learned successfully, X/Y in the dashboard, X will be added 1.
If only have ignition coil, please stop and start the START/STOP button after X added 1.
Warning: After all key is successful learned, press button OK.
All keys successfully learned.
Test the new key.
Remote works OK, it can start the car.
Done.
