Read VW Beetle 2001 Pin Code and Program Key with Xhorse iScancar

Super VAG (which now replaced by Xhorse iscancar VAG MM-007) handy tool is designed to diagnostic, program keys, read error codes and many special functions.  Here we have successfully read pin code and adapt key into a VW Beetle 2001.

 

Step 1: Pin Code Reading 

Disassemble the dashboard

Make a connection with iscancar

Select VAG Diagnostics->Instrument Cluster

Xhorse vag mm-007 scanner shows instrument information

Select Special Functions->Read PIN

Select Instrument type and confirm

Here we choose : Marelli Direct (2000-XK)

Read 4-digit pin code success

 

Step 2: Key Adaption 

Back to Xhorse iscancar function selection menu

Select Login function

Login with pin code just read

Login success

Select Adaption function

Enter channel ID: 21

Enter key number to be programmed

Key adaption success

Test the new key.
