Problem:
A customer was trying to cut the key blade for Kia Cerato 2012 and using the Silca Hyn14R (#33).
However when he use profile Hyn14R in Xhorse Dolphin XP005 to decode the key, it seems that the probe always miss the bits and creates the wrong key shape. Then he has to decode it by visual.
After cutting the key, he find out that the tips of original and new key look different (the original is a bit longer) and obviously that new key doesn’t work properly unless he pull the new key out of the lock a little bit.
How to fix it?
Solution:
Do universal duplication, not by model.
Problem solved.
