Here’s guide to read pin code on VAG K-line system directly from the instrument panel using Xhorse VVDI2 key programmer.
Tools needed:
VVDI2 VAG Software
Multigiga
How to:
We use a Multigiga machine which has lines available for connection
Each cable has a number that is related to each line available
Cos these information we look for the correct pinout for the module that we want to test in panel
pinout connection to Multigiga and instrument panel
Then connect VVDI2 VAG key programmer with Multigiga through main cable
Turn on instrument panel
After make good connection, open VVDI2 vag software
Select Special Function->K-Line Instrument/Immobilizer
Detect instrument cluster type: VDO66,VDO86, Motometer
Click on Read EEPROM
wait for eeprom reading
Read eeprom success
Now you can see VVDI2 read pin code success: 5591
You can write KM as well.
