Q:Which is the best programmer for CAS4?
The Xhorse VVDI Prog gave me grief and it seems to have killed the CAS.

VVDI Prog is great for CAS4! It is not tools fault that you were not careful enough doing your job. And with correct PFlash and DFlash your Cas4 could be working again but that depends only on you yourself. I have done around 11 CAS4 at the moment and never had any problems!
