Xhorse VVDI Mini Key Tool supports to unlock Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge key by soldering or Xhorse Renew Adapters. Following I’m gonna show how to do.
Open key shell and take out its circuit board.
Put it into Mini Key Tool coil, open Xhorse app:
Go to read transponder at first.
It says the key is already locked.
So let’s go to unlock key:
Special function >> Remote renew >> Chrysler & JEEP & Dodge >> M3N5WY783X
As you can see, the circuit board is same.
We can solder wires according to the diagram. Or we can use Xhorse Renew Adapters as mentioned: CRSL XDRN10EN adapter for connection. Without doubt, it must save me much time.
But unfortunately, I haven’t got them at hand. So I’ll connect it by soldering this time.
After successfully connected, click “Unlock”.
Just wait processing until 100%…
Renew success.
Put the key board into Mini Key Tool coil to read transponder again.
Alright, it’s unlocked now.
Completed!
The soldering did take me couple of minutes, so I may consider to purchase the Renew Adapters Full Set sooner or later.
