It’s a 2025 Toyota Alphard Korean version. Added a spare smart key with Xhorse vvdi key tool plus successfully.

Tools used:
Xhorse Toyota BA AKL 30 pin cable
Smart box location: Under the instrument panel on the driver’s side.
Need to connect the BA AKL cable to smart box to bypass gateway.
Connection steps:

Connect the BA all-key-lost adapter

Insert the BA wiring harness into the J3 connector

Connect the J2 connector to the OBD socket.

Connect the J1 connector to the key tool plus device.
Step 1: Back up immo data
Menu path: Select from type- Type 4 8A-P4 BA/B8 option
Note: Keep the network connection stable while backing up data. The backup process takes approximately 3–5 minutes.
Step 2: Generate the XM38 remote to a corresponding remote program
Step 3: Add smart key
