2013 Nissan Sentra All Key Lost Situation. Can I use an OEM used (locked) smart key fob I have or must be unlocked before programming? I also have an Xhorse Smart Key and use Xhorse Key Tool Max and Mini OBD Programmer. Thanks for your help or recommendations!
Solution:
Sentra don’t give problems but check module serial, just in case. Don’t want to burn it by reading pincode obd.
Most of them are unlocked. You can always use xhorse remote to program in first. And then see if you can add the used remote in.
You can use even if is locked! keytool max have an option to renew nissan key. you can also buy the renew adapter.
UPDATE:
programing was successful. Mini OBD read BCM code 5 digit, PIN code 4 digit, unlock steering column, matching key less than 5 min.
