How to check vvdi key tool plus device with or without built-in CAN FD?
Menu path:
Go to Immo Programming- Buick- China- GL8- 2020 onwards- Smart key programming
The device will indicate whether or not a CAN FD adapter is required. If the device indicates that a CAN FD adapter is not needed, it confirms that the unit already possesses the built-in CAN FD protocol.
For older devices, access the same menu; if the device prompts you to connect a CAN FD adapter, you will need to purchase a separate CAN FD adapter.
