Today we’re gonna use Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus + Solder Free Adapters to add a new semi-smart key for 2015 Porsche Cayenne. Whether key adding or all keys lost, disassembling BCM is a must. So that we can read DFLASH from CPU for key matching.
BCM Disassembly
This is a 2015 American verison of Cayenne. The BCM is installed above the accelerator pedal, which is a little out of hand. There’s only 1 screw on the bottom guard plate and a square buckle to take down the BCM.
Key frequency is written in the lower left corner of the BCM in case all keys lost situation. Open back screws to check the CPU model.
Generate Dealer Key
Prog >> Immobilizer >> Porsche >> BCM – 1N35H – Backup Read
Follow the diagram to connect XDNP17 Solder Free Adapter.
Read >> DFLASH
Save DFLASH file.
Immo programming >> Porsche >> New Porsche key – generate dealer key >> EEPROM(1N35H) >> Load EEPROM file
Put the new key into VVDI Key Tool Plus coil.
Selelct a blank key position, then generate key directly.
After successfully done, here we’ll get a new data file to save.
*If the new data is written to BCM, the new key can be used directly and no need to learn. However, it’s risky to do this. So we decided to install the BCM back to car, and use Key Tool Plus to learn key.
Learn Key
Immo programming >> Porsche >> New Porsche key – learn key >> Load original DFLASH >> Input key number to learn
Follow the prompts to learn the key.
Done.
