Problem:
I have trouble finding remotes through the xhorse vvdi key tool max pro cloud remote find function? Every time I try, I get this message. Tried different remotes.
Solution:
It doesn’t work on all remotes. It works about 80% of the time.
You must follow steps very carefully. Hit button once each time. If it stays stuck, start again. But works.
It does seem to require the remote be held very close to the xhorse mini key tool/key tool max. But, when you have an OEM remote, and it is identified, the generated remote has worked. When you need to use FCC #, and other. Info to choose the remote to generate, you check to see if the generated remote is recognized. So far, that seems to work consistently.
Those remotes that did work, worked very well.
If it does not find any remote, try to reset the key tool and tried about 5 more times and it was all good to go, it didn’t like the wait between button presses so you just pressed the lock button 3 times in quick succession and all good.
For these remotes that didn’t work, just do what real locksmiths do, look up vehicle info and fcc and ic #’s and we get it right every time.
