Here is the instruction on calculating BMW CAS4+ Crypto ISN in EDC17CP45 by Xhorse VVDI2 key programmer and VVDI Prog ecu programmer based on a youtube video (see attachment in the end).

Preparation:
Read BMW CAS4+ and ECU eeprom file respectively via VVDI prog programmer. Got ISN transferred by additional software.
Select Type CAS4+ 5M48H
select Load CAS4+ eeprom dump file read by VVDI Prog ecu programmer
select Load CAS4+ eeprom dump file read by VVDI Prog ecu programmer
Select Have a working key. Insert working key to CAS4 programmer and continue
Follow screen prompt
Prepare dealer key within 30 seconds, the windows maybe failure dead. Please wait to the end.
input new key to programmer then continue
VVDI2 prompt cannot read key error
Prepare dealer key within 30 seconds, the windows maybe failure dead. Please wait to the end.
input new key to programmer then continue

Copy CAS4+ ISN and paste it to keypad
Press Load eeprom dump file again, and upload the ECU eeprom read by VVDI-prog
This time select Have ECU dump file. Continue to load ecu dump file.
Prepare dealer key within 30 seconds, the windows maybe failure dead. Please wait to the end.

Copy ECU ISN to keypad
Copy ECU ISN to keypad
Open VVDI prog software
Press Search and Find Hex Values
Press Search and Find Hex Values
Copy and paste cas4+ ISN here
Click Edit tab->Remove
Removing the current block will decrease the file size, Continue?
Press Yes

If the system prompt following message, press Yes
Click Edit tab->Remove

click remove and repeat above procedure
Save eeprom bin file
