Today we’re working on a 2008 third-generation Land Rover Range Rover, L322 chassis, specifically its lock and EWS unit. The client purchased the vehicle at auction and contacted us to have the key restored. To save money, the client removed the EWS unit and door cylinder themselves.
So, the recovery procedure is as follows:
1. Read the necessary data from the EWS unit with Xhorse VVDI Prog.
. 2. Use this data to create a chip with Xhorse VVDI2.
. 3. Disassemble the lock and cut the blade
. 4. Prepare the key to program the central locking buttons in the car. Since this cannot be done using the units on the table, we simply prepare the key and provide detailed instructions on how to do it.
