Problem:
Trying to program a Xhorse B5 super remote for a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta with kessy but when I hit generate remote, I get an error (no data for current device). I did only the immobilizer programming just to try and it worked and started the vehicle, but the remote doesn’t work. Any help?
Solution:
That is not the correct remote generation.
That is not the right Xhorse key. You have to use Xhorse MQB remote.
That is not the right key to generate for a kessy key, the one you generating is a regular twist key start flip key.
That’s a 17-18 mqb remote, wrong generation, you’ll have to search the 859-___-___ number to find the remote.
Match the part number or FCCID on the side of the key.
Report:
After it was this one! it didn’t come up when i did the remote cloud detection but then i went and found it myself! just has the wrong pic.
