VVDI-2 device is the next generation of VVDI interface with additional features.
According to the producer, full version of VVDI-2 include : all functions of VVDI-1, BMW Multi Tool with CAS authorisations
and Transponder Programmer with new features. VVDI-2 also has support PSA and Porsche cars.
Casing of device is made of a very good quality, strong plastic and is really nice and ergonomic.
Transponder Programmer, OBD2 interface, remotes frequency meter etc. are integrated in one comfortable device.
Producer supplies VVDI2 device with a comfortable carrying case, OBD2 diagnostic cable and remotes programming cable.

|COMPONENT PROTECTION FUNCTION|
|Some parts of the modules build in the VAG vehicles, implement the so called “component protection”.
This is a mechanism dedicated to prevent exchange of modules between different vehicles without central authorization
from the VAG online database. Such modules placed in another vehicle activates the “component protection active” DTC.
VVDI-2 Component Protection Function allows to reset used module to virgin state and adapt it for other cars.

|VVDI-2 Transponder Programmer allows programming and copying electronic keys & transponders for vehicles.
Software include also many “keymakers” for production “ready programmed to start the vehicle” transponders
and several others useful function : preparing dealer keys, generate IDxx transponders, unlocking keys etc.

In our opinion – VVDI2 it’s very useful device, but many of advertised functions still works only partially or / and with errors.
It should be noted that the producer reacts to reported bugs and many of it try to fixed in the next releases of the software.
Updates are regular and frequent. New ( most often extra paid ) features are added several times a year.
