If You Choose Xhorse
Key Tool MIDI has moved much closer to Key Tool Plus for daily IMMO work. Its 2026 updates added BMW BDC2/BDC3/BCP/U and VAG 5C/5D, plus NEV and motorcycle OBD programming.
The NEV coverage includes BYD, DENZA, NETA L/S/X, Skyworth ME5/ME7, Chery Little Ant and Ruichi EC75. Motorcycle OBD covers Honda and Yamaha with the required XDKP92GL Cable.
TPMS is another practical MIDI advantage. With its dedicated TPMS system and accessories, MIDI can program and activate Xhorse TPMS Sensors instead of limiting the workflow to TPMS diagnosis/service.
Another important change is VAG MQB49 5C/5D. The earlier workflow required Multi-Prog to read the original key data. The August 2026 MIDI Advanced update can now read it directly with the 5C/5D Adapter + XNDP123 Converter, without Multi-Prog.
