Problem:
It is a BMW i3 with BDC system. Couldn’t do with Xhorse vvdi2 by OBD.
AVDI doesn’t tell me anything (as usual) and just request module removal for the traditional BDC/FEM eeprom method. But VVDI2 tells me it’s an unsupported flash for OBD unlocking (the i3 was SWFL_00002419.085_010_080).
Here is the clue.
It’s 085 version. VVDI2 cannot unlock this BDC version via OBD. You need to do it on bench.
For SWFL_00002419.085_010_080 you must use Yanhua Mini ACDP or AVDI with BN016 if you want to use OBD2.
Also if you don’t have latest abrites HW you must use an ENET cable in order to speed up the process.
