Xhorse Condor II Error Code 20 Solution

Here comes the solution to xhorse condor xc-mini plus ii key cutting machine error code 20.

Error code:20

spindle motor abnormal, rotate speed can’t up to rated value.

Fault phenomenon 1: The cutter rotates normally when starting to cut the key, the speed decreases significantly or simply stop rotating and receive an error message of 20 when the cutter comes into contact with the key.

Fault phenomenon 2: When starting to cut the key, the cutter does not rotate at all;

There are two possible causes for this malfunction.

1: Check if the connection cable of the main axis drive board has poor contact, and try unplugging the four circled plugs in the drive board on the right, pay special attention to the plug inside the yellow circle, as there may be poor contact between the pins;

2: If there are no problem with the plug connection cable, it means that the main axis drive board is damaged and needs to be replaced. The drive board is located next to the emergency stop switch inside the machine. (The picture on the right shows the appearance of the driver board).

Solution 1:

Unplug and re-plug these adapters on the driver board. Then do a spindle motor test to see if it can reach the rated speed.

Solution 2:

Disassemble xhorse condor ii shell and remove the driver board as below

Remove the resister marked image below. Then short both ends.

Solution 3:

Check all the Mosfets under the thermal shield.
There is 3 NPN and 3 PNP from memory.
One of those will be blown.

Solution 4:

Check the cables.
Sometimes it was the RED power cable from the board to the spindle motor (there was a break in the wire).
Take the motor out and re-soldered all the solder points & check the continuity of the cables from the power board and where good apart from the red wire.

Run a wire from the motor to the board and the motor worked.
If you test all the cables and they are good then its most problem the board.
