How-to tutorial: program Fiat Ducato 2021 ID46 key all keys lost using xhorse mini prog and vvdi key tool plus.
This procedure works on Fiat Ducato, Iveco Daily, Citroën Jumper, Peugeot Boxer, year 2019 to 2023.
Key = ID46 PCF7946 Marelli.
Some 2019 modeles job can be done by OBD and some 2023 are 4A chip which we cannot do for moment.
If your model is 2019 better to try via OBD first.
If your model is 2023, it is better to make key blade and use it to turn ignition ON and make a detection coil, which will give you information and know if it is 4A (job can’t be done) chip or ID46.
Step 1: Pick lock with Lishi and cut Key to open driver door.
Step 2: Removing BSI
Step 3: Read EEPROM
The immo data stores in eeprom ST 95640. We read data with Xhorse Mini Prog (in this case Key tool plus failed to read this eeprom under Prog function).
Read and save eeprom data.
Step 4: Make dealer Key
Download the eeprom file you read to the vvdi key tool plus.
Go to IMMO Data Tool- Fiat- Ducato- 2012 onwards 96540
Select eeprom data read in step 3.
Key tool plus will pull pin code from eeprom dump.
Select key position 3 and make dealer key.
Save new key data.
Step 5: Write new key data back to BSI.
Write new file with key No.3 registered.
Step 6: Reinstall BSI module back to vehicle.
Step 7: Try the New Key
